KUWAIT CITY, July 29: Kuwait Club has officially signed Moroccan professional Al-Amin Abu Al-Fath, who will replace Argentine player Sergio Victor, sidelined for at least six months due to a cruciate ligament injury. The 26-year-old former Wydad player Abu Al-Fath was recommended by his compatriot Yahya Jabrane, a former Wydad captain, who also recently signed with Kuwait Club. Born in 1997, Abu Al-Fath previously played for Moroccan club Youssoufia Berrechid and was recently close to joining Bahraini club Al-Khaldiya.

Abu Al-Fath is expected to join Kuwait Club's training sessions after the team returns from its training camp in Turkey. With this signing, Kuwait Club completes its roster of foreign players, which includes Tunisians Yahya Jabrane and Yassin Al-Khenisi, Bahraini Mohammed Marhoun, and Congolese Arsène Zola "Malik," along with Abu Al-Fath.

Kuwait Club is preparing for the new season, starting with a play-off match to qualify for the AFC Champions League against Al-Ahli of Bahrain in Manama on August 14. It will also face a strong challenge against Al-Qadisiya on August 8 in the opening of the Zain Premier League competitions.

Al-Arabi will play against Turkish team Erbaspor at 5:00 pm today as part of its training camp in Erzurum, Turkey. This will be Al-Arabi's second friendly match, following a goalless draw with Azerbaijan's Araz in its first match. The camp began last week and will continue until August 3.

Al-Qadisiya will face Saudi team Ohod in a friendly match at 6:00 pm, marking its third friendly match during its training camp in Cairo, Egypt. Previously, Al-Qadisiya played to a 1-1 draw with UAE's Al-Orobah and a 2-2 draw with Egypt's Wadi Degla. The Al-Qadisiya delegation is set to return from the Egyptian camp and will resume training in preparation for their Zain Premier League opener against Kuwait Club.
