KUWAIT CITY, Oct 5: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has announced the cancellation of several financial guarantees as part of its ongoing efforts to streamline procedures and enhance services for employers. This initiative is being implemented in accordance with the provisions of Administrative Resolution No. 1377 of 2025.

According to an official press release, the canceled guarantees include those linked to cleaning, security, and handling services. In addition, financial guarantees connected to work permits for absent employees, as well as permits for workers against whom final judicial rulings have been issued, have also been revoked. Furthermore, PAM has canceled the financial guarantees associated with commercial licenses for citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

The authority highlighted that this decision forms part of a broader strategy to improve Kuwait’s business environment. By reducing bureaucratic requirements and creating a more flexible and supportive framework for the private sector, PAM aims to encourage investment and promote greater efficiency and fluidity in the employment cycle.
