KUWAIT CITY, April 25: In a thrilling semi-final match against Al-Ahly Dubai, Kuwait Basketball Club secured their place in the final of the West Asian Super League for the Gulf region. With a score of 110/100, Kuwait Club demonstrated a distinguished level of play and remarkable offensive brilliance, particularly in their three-pointers. The victory marks the second win for Kuwait Club over their Emirati counterpart in a series decided by three matches, with two victories without a response.
Playing at the Emirates Club Hall in Dubai, the Emirati club appeared to be at a better level than in their previous match, scoring more points in an attempt to return to the game. However, the experience and skill of Kuwaiti players, who are Arab and Gulf champions, ultimately decided the confrontation.
With their qualification for the final, Kuwait Club will face Bahraini Club Manama in a series consisting of three matches in May. Both teams had previously expressed confidence in reaching the final in the West Continent, which will be held in an assembly system.
Kuwait Club's impressive performance in the semi-final match bodes well for their chances in the upcoming final, as they continue to display the skill and determination that has brought them this far in the West Asian Super League. Fans of both teams can look forward to an exciting and hard-fought final in the weeks to come.
