MUSCAT, Oct 7: The Kuwait national soccer team arrived in Muscat for its upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifier against Oman in the third round of Group Two competitions.

The team's Dubai training camp, which began on September 30, concluded yesterday. Under the leadership of Argentine coach Juan Pizzi, the technical staff focused on ensuring that all players were in top form to secure their first victory in the qualifiers. The team will hold a training session this evening at the Police Stadium and a final practice session tomorrow at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bousher. Media access will be allowed only during the first 15 minutes.

Dhofar player Sultan Al-Enezi joined the team after missing previous sessions due to commitments with his new club. The team's medical staff, headed by Dr. Abdul Majeed Al Bannai, implemented a special nutritional program to help players cope with the high humidity and avoid muscle injuries. On the Omani side, Bangkok United striker Mohsen Al Ghassani joined his teammates at their training camp in Seeb Stadium. Salah Al Yahyaei, from Bahrain's Al Khalidiya Club, also participated after recovering from an injury that kept him out of the matches against Iraq and South Korea.

Additionally, an Australian refereeing crew led by Alireza Faghani will arrive today, with Catherine Margaret Jaswicz overseeing VAR, alongside other officials from the Maldives and Qatar.
