KUWAIT CITY, Aug 7: First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah said Wednesday that the developments in the regional situation require increased vigilance, readiness, and preparedness within the armed forces. Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef emphasized in a press statement issued by the General Staff of the Army, after chairing a meeting with senior army commanders at the Ministry of Defense headquarters, the political leadership’s keen support for all measures that ensure the military sectors in the country can effectively carry out their tasks and duties.

He stressed the importance of activating and enhancing permanent cooperation and coordination between all army units and military sectors in the country, which constitutes the cornerstone for advancing the level of our armed forces and increasing the efficiency and ability of its members to face various circumstances and challenges. The statement added that the meeting discussed developments related to the work mechanism and reviewed the most important programs, plans, and projects prepared by all military units. The meeting was attended by the Chief of General Staff of the Army Lieutenant General Pilot Bandar Al-Muzain and Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Army Major General Pilot Sabah Jaber Al-Sabah.
