His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar and Kuwait’s Amir, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah

KUWAIT CITY, June 23: Kuwait’s Amir, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, held a phone call this evening with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, to express solidarity and support following the recent missile attack on Al Udeid Air Base by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.

During the call, His Highness reassured the Qatari leadership and people of Kuwait’s firm stance, strongly condemning the blatant aggression, which he described as a serious violation of Qatar’s sovereignty, airspace, international law, and the United Nations Charter. He reaffirmed Kuwait’s full support for Qatar—its leadership, government, and people—and expressed full backing for all measures Qatar may take to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability.

His Highness also conveyed Kuwait’s readiness to mobilize all its capabilities in support of Qatar, stressing that the security and stability of Qatar are inseparable from those of Kuwait. He concluded with prayers for the protection and safety of the Qatari people.

In response, the Emir of Qatar expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, wishing him good health and continued progress and prosperity for the State of Kuwait and its people.
