KUWAIT CITY, March 20: The Kuwait Airways Workers Union and its subsidiaries hosted the draw for the inaugural Ramadan padel Tournament, featuring the participation of 15 teams comprising employees, retirees, and government transferees. These teams, hailing from Kuwait Airways and its subsidiaries, were divided into 4 groups for the competition, which took place at the padel courts in Shuwaikh. The organizing committee ensured a memorable experience for participants, with surprises alongside valuable prizes, trophies, and medals for the top-ranking teams.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Mahawish, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Airways Workers Union and its subsidiaries, emphasized the tournament's role in fostering community cohesion among employees. He stated, "The launch of the first padel tournament during the blessed month of Ramadan aims to unite Kuwait Airways enthusiasts in a spirited sporting environment, fostering camaraderie and motivation among employees." Al-Mahawish highlighted the importance of sporting activities in promoting employee engagement and nurturing young talents for future success.

Acknowledging the dedication of the organizing committee, including Abdullah Al-Tawala, head of the union’s sports committee, Al-Mahawish commended their efforts in overcoming obstacles to host the inaugural Ramadan padel tournament.
