KUWAIT CITY, Aug 27: Kuwait Airways has signed a Master Services Agreement (MSA) with Impulse International Communications, marking a significant step in its ongoing digital transformation efforts. The agreement will enable the national carrier to integrate the latest information technologies into its operations, in line with Kuwait's Vision 2035.

Kuwait Airways Chairman Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan stated that the deal will enhance the airline's technological capabilities, improving performance across all levels. He emphasized that the MSA aligns with the airline’s strategic objectives to optimize the customer experience and operational efficiency through advanced digital solutions.

"The agreement ensures Kuwait Airways' ability to adopt cutting-edge cloud computing technologies to streamline customer service, safety, and overall operational flexibility," Al-Fagaan explained. He added that Impulse is a key player in the local cloud computing landscape, as the authorized distributor of the Advanced Framework Agreement (AFA) with Google Cloud, offering comprehensive support to Kuwait Airways.

Al-Fagaan also reiterated Kuwait Airways' commitment to becoming the preferred airline for travelers by providing exceptional service, enhanced safety, and a seamless travel experience through the use of innovative technologies.

Izzat Abou Amarah, Vice Chairman and CEO of Impulse, described the collaboration as essential to automating Kuwait Airways' procedures and achieving the airline’s digital transformation objectives. He noted that Impulse’s focus on artificial intelligence and digital innovation aligns with global trends in the aviation sector.

"Our mission is to drive Kuwait's digital transformation by accelerating the adoption of cloud technology and delivering innovative solutions that help businesses succeed in a rapidly evolving digital environment," Abou Amarah said. He added that the key element of the partnership is improving the passenger experience, from the initial booking process through to the completion of travel.

Kuwait Airways, founded in 1953 as Kuwait National Airways Limited, was fully acquired by the government in 1962. Impulse International Communications, established in 2012 by the National Technology Enterprises Company (NTEC), a subsidiary of the Kuwait Investment Authority, is a leading technology services provider in Kuwait.

This agreement is set to foster the digital evolution of Kuwait Airways, helping the carrier maintain its competitive edge in the global aviation industry while improving operational efficiency and enhancing customer satisfaction.
