KUWAIT CITY, July 23: Kuwait Airways and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) held discussions on Wednesday aimed at enhancing cooperation in the areas of training, cultural development, and social responsibility.
Chairman of Kuwait Airways Corporation, Abdulmohsen Al-Faqan, stated that the meeting focused on launching joint initiatives, particularly in the fields of energy and artificial intelligence. The dialogue also addressed avenues for collaboration on specialized training programs to strengthen technical and scientific skills among employees.
Speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al-Faqan emphasized the importance of developing human capital and preparing company leaders for future challenges. He noted that this collaboration with KFAS is a key step toward supporting Kuwait Airways’ strategic objectives in digital transformation and innovation.
Al-Faqan further explained that the discussions aimed to raise the overall efficiency of the airline, both in terms of human and technological capabilities. He underscored that this partnership will also support both institutions in promoting scientific knowledge and cultural awareness across the country.
He described the meeting as part of Kuwait Airways’ ongoing commitment to enhancing cooperation with various national institutions in both the public and private sectors, aligning with broader goals to contribute to Kuwait’s economic growth and development.
Kuwait Airways has previously signed a series of agreements with national companies and government bodies, including Zain, the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, the Tourism Enterprises Company, the Kuwait Oil Company, and the Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company.
