KUWAIT CITY, Sept 1: Minister of Oil and Higher Education Dr Muhammad Al-Faris has asked Kuwait University to submit a list of universities, colleges and institutes whose graduates are approved for appointment in its colleges; in a move deemed as gearing towards the appointment of academic and academic support staff in the country’s public universities, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The daily obtained a copy of the letter that Al-Faris sent to acting Director of Kuwait University Dr Bader Al-Badawi, stating Public Universities Law number 76 of 2019 stipulates that certificates submitted for the purpose of appointment of the above-mentioned staff must be from any of the universities, colleges or institutes approved by the Council of Public Universities.
