KUWAIT CITY, June 10: The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) has received official accreditation from the American Institute for Health and Safety for its first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training programs.
KRCS Vice Chairman Dr. Nasser Al-Tannak told KUNA the accreditation demonstrates the society’s adherence to global training standards for its staff and volunteers. This achievement aligns with KRCS’s strategy to enhance training programs, strengthen international partnerships, and bolster its humanitarian emergency response efforts.
Al-Tannak noted that the accreditation enables KRCS to conduct internationally recognized courses, providing trainees with certifications from a leading global health and safety authority. He emphasized the critical role of first aid awareness in saving lives, minimizing injury complications, and equipping individuals to respond effectively until professional medical help arrives.
First aid training remains a key focus for KRCS, delivered through workshops for government entities and its medical services department.
