KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2: On Saturday morning, Kuwait National Petroleum Company reported a leakage in the primary cooling water of the environmental fuel units located at the Abdullah Port Refinery. The company shared this information on its (X) social media account, affirming that refinery teams have initiated a systematic and secure shutdown of the affected units, adhering to all necessary safety measures.

The company mentioned that dedicated maintenance teams are actively addressing the issue, working swiftly to rectify the defect and subsequently reinitiate the units. The primary objective is to minimize any potential impact on export operations.
