LOS ANGELES, Feb 6, (Agencies): Killer Mike is breaking his silence following an incident where he found himself handcuffed and questioned by police during the 2024 Grammys. The Atlanta rapper's encounter unfolded after he clinched prestigious awards at the pre-telecast ceremony, securing victories for "Scientist & Engineers" as the best rap song, best rap performance, and best rap album for "Michael."

Confirming the incident on Sunday night, the LAPD revealed that an adult male, involved in a physical altercation at the 700 block of Chick Hearn Court, was detained, handcuffed, and later arrested, being transported to LAPD Central Division.

Amidst the unfolding events, Killer Mike shed light on the situation, stating, "As you can imagine, there was a lot going on, and there was some confusion around which door my team and I should enter. We experienced an over-zealous security guard, but my team and I have the utmost confidence that I will ultimately be cleared of all wrongdoing. Until that time, keep listening to Michael, and keep going after your dreams," in an official statement.
