KIB sponsors 5th Kuwait Industries Union Expo

Event held under the patronage of HH the Amir and entitled ‘Bridges’

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: KIB recently sponsored the 5th Kuwaiti Industries Union (KIU) Expo 2018. Held under the patronage of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad, the exhibition took place at Kuwait International Fair in Mishref. The exhibition was attended by a number of large local factories, companies, and SME business owners, in addition to the participation of public entities closely linked to this sector.

On its part, KIB noted that its sponsorship of this event came as part of its commitment as a national financial institution, providing integrated financial services and solutions to large, medium and small businesses.

Additionally, this sponsorship was a result of KIB’s belief in the key role the KIU plays in fostering cooperation between the local industrial sector and all other relevant sectors.

As part of its youth empowerment pillar, KIB added that it always seeks to participate in initiatives and activities that bring it closer to diverse segments of the community, particularly youth. This exhibition served as an excellent opportunity for all relevant parties to meet, those currently employed within the sector as well as others that are interested in the sector, including youth and university students.

Moreover, the exhibition enabled the exchange of different experiences and expertise between sectors, allowing attendees to learn the latest developments in a friendly, positive environment. KIB continues to support activities and events that cater to the needs of all segments across the local community; as part of its leading social responsibility program, which aims at developing the community and the overall well-being of its members.
