KUWAIT CITY, Sept 27: The Kuwait Football Association has condemned the incidents during Kuwait Club vs. Al-Qadsia in Round 4 of the Zain Premier League at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. The FA confirmed that all individuals involved in the post-match brawl will face the Disciplinary Committee for strict sanctions under league regulations.
Kuwait Club secured a 2-1 victory, with Mohamed Marhoon opening the scoring with a thunderous strike in the 29th minute and Taha Al-Khnisi adding a second in stoppage time. Al-Qadsia’s Bader Al-Mutawa reduced the deficit in the 85th minute, but a confrontation between team officials erupted before the final whistle, requiring intervention from Special Stadium Security Forces.
Round 4 Fixtures: Al-Salmiya vs. Al-Jahra, Al-Nasr vs. Al-Tadamon
To close Round 4, Al-Salmiya will host Al-Jahra at Thamer Stadium at 8:20 PM, while Al-Nasr faces Al-Tadamon at Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium at 6:05 PM.
Al-Salmiya has recovered from a challenging start that led to the resignation of coach Nasser Al-Shatti. Under Mohammed Dhailis, the team has recorded wins over Al-Nasr (2-0) and Al-Tadamon (1-0) and aims to continue their momentum.
Al-Jahra comes off a 2-2 draw with Kazma, narrowly missing a win due to a late goal. Al-Salmiya leads the mini-table with 6 points, while Al-Jahra and Al-Tadamon sit with 1 point each. Al-Tadamon seeks its first win, and Al-Nasr remains at the bottom with zero points after three straight losses under coach Jamel Belkacem.
