KD 10 deduction for refunding tickets as service charges

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 27: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation issued a new circular allowing travel agencies to deduct 10 dinars as service charges for each refunding ticket.

In earlier circular in which the administration obligated all airlines, travel and tourism agencies operating in Kuwait to adopt policies to return the tickets amount, hotel reservations and other tourism services for customers whose trips were canceled during the period from March 14 to July 31, either return customers dues by paying back, postpone booking in future without any deduction during or give credit without deduction before September 30.

As per the new circular, it was stipulated that only 10 KD per ticket should be deducted as fees and services for the period indicated.
