KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26: The Kuwait Volleyball Federation Championship concludes today with a highly anticipated final between defending champions Kazma and Al-Kuwait at 7:00 p.m. in the Volleyball Hall at Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex. Earlier, at 5:00 p.m., Qadsia and Burgan will compete in the third-place playoff.

Kazma aims to defend its title and reaffirm its dominance, having led the tournament for most of the competition. Its only setback came in the final round, losing to Kuwait Club and slipping to second place on set difference.

The team played eight matches in the championship, winning four. Brazilian coach Kakarato will rely on his experienced duo, Costa and Adimar, along with key local players, to secure the trophy.

Kazma has demonstrated consistent high-level performance across all positions since the start of the tournament, showing their determination to retain the title.

Meanwhile, Kuwait Club seeks to continue last season’s success by claiming the championship. Under Brazilian coach Carlos Schwanke, the team depends on the talent of Oliver Vaino (Estonia), Nicolas Haug, and the experience of their local players, who are buoyed by their recent victory over Kazma last Thursday.
