Kazma continues pre-season in Turkey with a defeat to Al-Khalidiya

ISTANBUL, Aug 21: Kazma suffered a 3-1 defeat to Bahrain’s Al-Khalidiya in its second friendly match of the training camp in Turkey.

The lone goal for Kazma came from its Algerian forward Idriss Chaoubi. In its first friendly, Kazma drew 0-0 with Saudi side Damac. It is scheduled to play two more friendlies against Bahraini clubs Al-Muharraq and Sitra on August 24 and 27.

Croatian coach Dragan Tadic is working to prepare his squad ahead of the Zain Premier League opener against Al-Salmiya on September 12.

Kazma has strengthened its roster with several signings, including Sultan Al-Anzi and Khalifa Raheel, the return of Shbib Al-Khaldi, and the addition of Othman Al-Shammari. Foreign players include Algerian Idriss Chaoubi and Jordanians Ali Azaiza and Youssef Abu Al-Jazar. The club also renewed contracts for Jordanian Anas Al-Awadat and Beninese Samouel Akinola.
