KUWAIT CITY, May 22: Saad Yaqoub, head coach of the Kazma Club volleyball team, confirmed that the recently concluded 2024-2025 season stands out as one of the most successful in the club's history.
“It was a tough season, but the commitment and hard work of the players across all age groups, along with the dedication of the technical and administrative staff, made the difference,” Yaqoub said. “Thanks to the continued support from the club’s management and the volleyball department, we achieved impressive results.”
Kazma’s U-10 team captured the league title under the guidance of coach Tari Al-Baghdadi and supervisor Mohammed Al-Ansari. The U-12 team also secured the league championship with coach Abdulrahman Kamal and administrator Abdullah Al-Muzayel leading the way.
The U-14 team, coached by Mohammed Mabrouk and supervised by Hussein Al-Othman, won the Federation Cup and finished third in the league. The U-16 squad, under coach Makram Alimi and administrator Mohammed Al-Balushi, also claimed the Federation Cup and secured fourth place in the league.
At the youth level, the U-19 team dominated by winning both the league and cup titles, thanks to coach Riyad Ghandri and administrator Mishaal Subaih. Meanwhile, the senior team won the Federation Championship under Brazilian coach Kakarotto and administrator Alaa Al-Ma’rouf.
Yaqoub emphasized that the achievements of Kazma's volleyball teams were no coincidence. “These results are the product of long-term planning, consistent support from the club’s leadership, and the efforts of everyone involved in the volleyball department,” he added. “They serve as motivation to aim even higher in the upcoming seasons.”
