LONDON, May 25; Kate Middleton is reportedly planning to avoid public appearances for the rest of the year as she continues her battle with cancer, according to a recent report.

A royal source told the Daily Beast on Friday, “Lots of people involved in planning need to know what all the principals are doing a long way in advance. I am told that Kate’s diary for this year is empty. There is nothing planned. She may not appear in public for the rest of the year.”

An alleged friend of Middleton and Prince William revealed to the outlet that Middleton is prioritizing her mental health during this challenging time. “The key thing for her now is avoiding any kind of stress or anxiety and just getting on with the business of getting better,” the insider added. “They will bail out and be off to Sandringham the moment school breaks up.”

According to reports, Middleton will spend time with her children and relatives at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, England. Parents from Middleton’s children’s school mentioned to the Daily Beast that they haven’t seen her attend sports matches or school events lately, although there have been rumors of her doing morning drop-offs.

A courtier confirmed to the publication that Middleton is “continuing her recovery at home,” emphasizing her need for privacy. Meanwhile, another source suggested that Middleton might provide another digital update on her health in the future, as it was an effective way to address concerns previously.

Middleton’s last public address was on March 22, where she spoke about her treatment and the importance of privacy for her family. She revealed that she was undergoing chemotherapy for cancer in its early stages. Before this, Middleton had only been seen in public twice in 2024, once near Windsor Castle and then at a farmer’s market with Prince William.
