Jordanian woman found dead in an apartment in Salmiya – Foul play seen

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 24: Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department are investigating the death of a Jordanian woman who was found dead in her mother’s apartment in Salmiya, reports Al-Rai daily.

A security source said when the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received a report on the death, personnel from the Emergency Medical Services and police rushed to the spot and discovered the corpse bore burn and beating marks on the body. Security sources have not ruled out criminal motives.

Meanwhile, an Egyptian has filed a complaint with the northern Jahra Police Station accusing his Syrian colleague of stealing the car belonging to the company, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source said a case of theft has been filed against the Syrian. Police are looking for the man.
