Jet-skis, boats impounded

KUWAIT CITY, June 12: The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior stated as part of the efforts exerted by the General Department of the Coast Guard to keep in check the bad behavior of some jet-ski riders, educate sea-goers, impose the prestige of law and security control, the Operations, Formations, Maritime Security and Support Services departments launched a security campaign, after receiving a number of reports about the density of jet-skis in some areas, where these bike riders engage in wrong and reckless practices and endanger the lives of seagoers, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The administration explained the Coast Guard officials seized 5 boats and 10 jet-skis because of reckless behavior. The Coast Guard General Administration said the campaigns are continuing to instill discipline, confront violators and provide security and safety for all sea-goers.
