LOS ANGELES, Dec 5, (Agencies): Reflecting on a recent medical emergency in April, Jamie Foxx shared intimate details during an emotional award acceptance speech at the Critics Choice Association's Celebration of Cinema & Television: Honoring Black, Latino, and AAPI Achievements in Los Angeles. The 55-year-old actor expressed gratitude as he accepted the Vanguard Award for his outstanding performance in The Burial.

Opening up about his health scare, Foxx acknowledged, "I want to thank everybody. I've been through something. I've been through some things." He went on to reveal the severity of the situation, saying, "It's crazy, I couldn't do that six months ago. I couldn't actually walk too...," his voice filled with emotion.

Expressing a newfound appreciation for life, Foxx conveyed, "It feels good to be here. I cherish every single minute now. It's different. It's different." He delved into the challenging aspects of his experience, sharing, "I wouldn't wish what I went through on my worst enemy because it's tough when you almost... When it's almost over, when you see the tunnel."

Adding a lighter note to the conversation, Foxx addressed previous rumors about him being a clone, assuring the audience with a touch of humor that he is indeed not a clone.
