KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: A Kuwaiti has expressed his displeasure against officers of the concerned department in the Ministry of Interior for allegedly ignoring his distress call and failing to assist him when his yacht developed a fault and instead directed him to the company, reports Al-Rai daily. The man complained that he was stuck in the yacht off Ras Salmiya with his wife, so he contacted the Coast Guard patrol but was refused assistance. He said the officers told him that they were not assigned to be involved in faulty boats and yachts. They informed him that the Ministry of Interior has a contract with some companies that perform such activity for a fee.
