KUWAIT CITY, May 30: Kazma Club has renewed the contract of Jordanian professional Ahmed Irsan for another season, at the request of head coach Mohamed Dehelis. Irsan impressed last season, earning the approval of the Board of Directors and the technical and administrative staff, marking his fourth season with the team.
Regarding other professionals, Algerian Imad Eddine Ezzi is close to renewal, while the club is unlikely to renew contracts with Frenchman Reda Bencha and Nigerian John Teddy.
In other news, Al-Fahaheel has finalized its professional roster for the upcoming season. The club has agreed to retain Brazilian Vitor, who will join his compatriots Julio Cesar and Williamsburg and the Ivorian player. Meanwhile, Syrian Nasouh Nakdali is no longer in the plans of head coach Firas Al-Khatib, and has been replaced by former Jahra striker Rodrigo.
Al-Fahaheel has also begun negotiations with several local players. The club has agreed with Nayef Zuwaid, who played for Al-Qadisiyah last season and is in serious talks to sign Al-Arabi player Sultan Al-Anazi. The administration is also monitoring other local players based on recommendations from the technical staff.
