KUWAIT CITY, Dec 11: Abdali Customs thwarted an attempt to smuggle liquid chemicals to produce methamphetamine (shabu) which was hidden in the tank of the vehicle.
The Iraqi driver in his forties who was driving a four-wheel drive raised suspicion when the inspector noticed welding on the petrol tank at the bottom of the vehicle. On checking it was found that the tank was filled with chemical liquid which is used to create synthetic drug meth (shabu). The accused along with the vehicle was handed to the competent authorities.
