KUWAIT CITY, Sept 21: First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah conducted an inspection tour Saturday of the Police Officers Club in Abu Al-Hasaniya, ahead of its scheduled opening, reaffirming the ministry’s commitment to projects that support the welfare of security personnel and their families.

In a press statement released by the Ministry of Interior, Sheikh Fahad emphasized that the visit comes as part of his continued follow-up on key ministry initiatives. He underlined that the club represents a strategic step toward creating an integrated environment that fosters stronger social ties, national loyalty, and a deeper sense of belonging within the security institution.

Sheikh Fahad noted that the soon-to-open club will mark a qualitative addition to the ministry’s efforts, enhancing the club’s social, cultural, and sporting roles. He described it as a central platform for activities and events serving both officers and their families.

During the visit, Sheikh Fahad toured the club’s various facilities, including chalets, swimming pools, and multi-purpose halls. He reviewed the latest development works and modern equipment installed to meet the aspirations of security officers and deliver comprehensive, high-quality services for their families.

The statement added that Sheikh Fahad received a detailed briefing from Brigadier General Abdul Mohsen Al-Akshan, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, who outlined the stages of the project’s development. Al-Akshan emphasized that the facilities reflect a comprehensive vision aimed at creating an ideal setting for family-oriented and social activities within the security sector.
