KUWAIT CITY, May 28: A coordinated traffic and inspection campaign was launched in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area, targeting workshops, garages, and vehicles found in violation of existing laws and regulations.

The joint operation involved the Technical Inspection Department, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Kuwait Municipality. The campaign aimed to ensure compliance with safety, commercial, and municipal standards across industrial facilities and automotive businesses operating in the area.

Authorities carried out comprehensive checks on vehicle conditions, business licenses, and adherence to environmental and cleanliness guidelines. The move is part of ongoing efforts to uphold public safety, enhance regulatory enforcement, and maintain order in Kuwait’s key industrial zones. Officials confirmed that legal action will be taken against all violators, and similar campaigns are planned for other high-density commercial areas in the near future.
