NEW DELHI, Oct 10: Indian security on Saturday said four militants were killed in two separate encounters in the north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.


The Press Trust of India said quoting local police sources that an encounter broke out between security forces and militants in Dadoora area of Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir killing two militants.
The Indian forces recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from the site of the incident. A joint team of local Police, Army and Central Reserve Police Force launched a search operation in the area following intelligence inputs. In another incident, the security forces killed two militants in Chingam area of Kulgam district in the state.
