KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3: Minister of Health Dr Basel Al-Sabah was recently quoted as saying the Ministry of Health will look into the circumstances of the ‘suspicious’ appointment of hundreds of Indian nurses and that the Ministry has referred the file to the Public Prosecution, reports Al-Jarida daily.This came after the ministry detected fl aws, irregularities and suspicions that caused the state to lose public funds. The minister was answering a parliamentary query submitted by MP Rakan Al-Nisf concerning the appointment of a big number of Indian female nurses by companies in 2016, who are at the center of dispute because they have yet to be hired and paid by the Ministry of Health. Al-Sabah cited irregularities in hiring the nurses and giving them government housing without the approval of the Civil Services Commission
