Indian kills self; Kuwaiti girl in suicide bid

KUWAIT CITY, April 5: An Indian committed suicide by hanging inside the home of his sponsor in the the suburb of Qadsiya. When the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a report on the incident police and paramedics rushed to the spot and referred the corpse to Forensics. Police are investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, a 16-year-old Kuwaiti girl threatened to set fire to herself. She was holding a can of petrol in one hand and a gas lighter in another. She wanted to end her life because she was allegedly ‘disciplined’ by her family on a daily basis. After the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a report on the incident police rushed to the spot and talked the girl out of her threat and referred her to the concerned authority
