KUWAIT CITY, Aug 28: Just before boarding a Kuwait Airways flight to return to France after a more than three-year mission, former French Ambassador Claire Le Flecher expressed her deep appreciation for Kuwait on her X platform account.

She tweeted, “I leave Kuwait with a heart full of memories and gratitude,” and shared photos from her time in the country, including one with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad. Le Flecher highlighted the honor of being received by His Highness in a private courtesy visit and was moved by their discussion on the enduring friendship between France and Kuwait. In a follow-up tweet, she posted a picture of the plane that would take her back to Paris, saying, “I was honored to serve as the French ambassador to this wonderful country. “Thank you all for this unforgettable trip.” She concluded with a heartfelt message: “Goodbye Kuwait, and long live the French-Kuwaiti friendship.”
