KUWAIT CITY, Sept 3: The Director of the Meteorology Department, Dharar Al-Ali, said Tuesday that Kuwait will be affected by an extension of the Indian monsoon depression, bringing a hot and humid air mass, particularly to coastal areas.
Al-Ali noted that northwesterly to variable winds will shift to southeasterly on Tuesday, resulting in a gradual increase in humidity starting Tuesday evening. He added that high humidity levels are expected to continue until Friday.
The director explained that northwesterly winds are expected to return on Friday evening, which will help reduce humidity. He described the weather over the next few days as generally hot and relatively humid during daytime, and hot to hot and humid at night, especially in coastal areas.
