KUWAIT CITY, Sept 30: The famous British company ‘Hotel Chocolat’ has withdrawn one of its products from the market due to fears that it contains pieces of glass, reports Al-Rai daily.

Officials at the British Food Standards Agency said that the Hotel Chocolat has recalled one of its products over fears it may contain pieces of glass. The item being pulled from shelves is the Hotel Chocolat Choose Your Poison, which is packaged in a glass flask with a cork stopper and contains 36 filled chocolates

The agency spokesman added, "The possibility of the presence of glass makes this product unsafe to eat. It is sold in Hotel Chocolatier, John Lewis stores, and online. A notice on the Food Standards Agency's website said: "Hotel Chocolat is recalling the product. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all stores. These notices explain to customers why the product is being withdrawn and tell them what to do if they buy it."
