Hot and humid weather with fog to persist until Thursday, Kuwait Meteorological Dept warns.
KUWAIT CITY, June 11: Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Affairs at the Ministry of Health Dr. Munther Al-Hasawi confirmed that Kuwait implements a comprehensive and precise health surveillance system to prevent infectious diseases, amid international reports of rising HIV infection rates in some countries. Al-Ali told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that fog is expected to reduce horizontal visibility during the evening and may persist into Thursday, with rising humidity and continued chances of light fog in the early morning hours. Looking ahead to the weekend, he explained that humidity will decrease as the air mass shifts and winds turn northwesterly. Temperatures are forecast to gradually rise, reaching between 49 and 51 degrees Celsius.
