Hot days and warm nights expected across the country this weekend
Kuwait's Meteorological Department forecasts hot weather and moderate sea waves this weekend.

KUWAIT CITY, May 8: Kuwait's Meteorological Department (MD) has forecast hot weather for the upcoming weekend, with temperatures expected to reach between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius. Sea waves will be moderate to high, ranging from 3 to 6 feet, according to Al-Ali's statement to KUNA.

Tonight, the weather will remain hot, with northwesterly winds that are light to moderate in speed, occasionally becoming active in coastal areas. Wind speeds will range from 12 to 42 kilometers per hour, with minimum temperatures expected to be between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius. The sea will be light to moderate, with waves ranging from 2 to 6 feet.

On Friday, the weather will continue to be hot with northwesterly winds, light to moderate in speed, at times becoming more active. Winds will blow between 15 and 45 kilometers per hour, stirring dust in open areas. Maximum temperatures will range between 39 and 41 degrees Celsius, while the sea will be light to moderate with waves ranging from 2 to 5 feet.

The weather on Friday night will be similarly hot, with northwesterly winds at light to moderate speeds, ranging from 10 to 35 kilometers per hour. Minimum temperatures will be between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius, with the sea remaining light to moderate, and waves between 2 and 5 feet.

Saturday's weather will also be hot, with northwesterly winds blowing at light to moderate speeds, occasionally becoming more active. Winds will range from 15 to 50 kilometers per hour, causing dust in open areas. Maximum temperatures will range from 41 to 43 degrees Celsius. The sea will continue to be light to moderate, with waves rising between 2 and 6 feet at times.

Saturday night will also be hot, with northwesterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, ranging between 8 and 32 kilometers per hour. The minimum temperatures will range between 27 and 29 degrees Celsius, and the sea will remain light to moderate, with waves between 1 and 4 feet.
