KUWAIT CITY, Sep 29: National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim stated that His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, will take the constitutional oath before the National Assembly as the Amir of the State of Kuwait in a special session of the Council tomorrow, Wednesday.

Al-Ghanim said in a press statement that he had met "a short while ago with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as it was decided that His Highness would take the constitutional oath before the National Assembly tomorrow."

Al-Ghanim added, "During the meeting, we listened to the directives of His Highness the Amir, and it was decided to invite the National Assembly to hold a special session tomorrow, Wednesday at eleven in the morning, during which His Highness will take the constitutional oath in accordance with the text of Article (60) of the constitution."
