KUWAIT CITY, Jan 6: The Football Association has officially announced the commencement dates for the qualifying rounds of His Highness the Amir's Soccer Cup for the 2023-2024 sports season. The preliminary round is scheduled to kick off on January 26, featuring matches between Al-Arabi and Al-Sulaibkhat, as well as Al-Nasr against Al-Sahel. The same round will conclude on January 27 with fixtures including Al-Fahaheel versus Al-Shabab and Al-Qadisiya against Yarmouk. Additionally, Al-Salmiya will face Khaitan, and Kazma will take on Burgan on January 28. The preliminary round wraps up on January 29 with a match between Al-Jahra and Al-Tadamon.

Looking ahead, the quarter-final matches for the Emir's Cup are set for February 1 and 2, while the semi-finals are scheduled for February 7.

The Football Association has also outlined the schedule for the remaining rounds of the Zain Premier League competition. The 15th round is slated to commence on February 11, followed by the 16th round on the 16th of the same month, the 17th round on March 1, and the 18th round on March 6.

In an additional update, Al-Ittihad disclosed that two Super Cup matches will take place on February 22. Al-Qadisiya will face Al-Kuwait, while Al-Arabi will compete against Kazma. The winners of these matches will subsequently meet in the final on February 26.
