KUWAIT CITY, Nov 19, (Agencies): The Ministry of Health concluded the acceptance of grievances related to outstanding performance rewards on Saturday, having received around 17,000 submissions. According to reliable sources in the health sector, the Ministry will now undertake a thorough examination of all grievances, categorize them, and promptly forward them to the relevant committee for deliberation. It was emphasized that grievances failing to meet the specified criteria would be excluded from consideration.

The eligibility conditions for submitting outstanding performance grievances dictate that the nominated employee’s service period should not be less than one calendar year, spanning from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022, within the Ministry of Health. Additional prerequisites include the nominee not having incurred any disciplinary penalties in 2022, and the sick leave duration not exceeding 15 days (excluding hospitalization) throughout the same year. Furthermore, the employee’s actual working days during the calendar year should constitute at least 70% of the total days.

For employees operating on a shift system, the calculation aligns with their respective schedules, while other categories are expected to adhere to a standard of 180 actual working days. Notably, the employee must hold a position on the general salary scale, and the computation of the actual work period excludes interruptions such as work suspensions, various types of leaves and sabbaticals, official holidays, breaks, and rest days, except for sick leave exclusively during hospital stays. The Ministry aims to swiftly address the outstanding grievances and make decisions accordingly.
