KUWAIT CITY, Sept 20: The Emergency Team at the Kuwait Municipality branch in the Capital Governorate carried out an intensive inspection campaign targeting health spas in Bneid Al-Gar which resulted in the issuance of two citations and signing of five pledges.
In a press statement, Director of the branch Badar Al-Nasser Bu Raqba explained the objective of the campaign was to ensure compliance with rules and conditions for operating health spas, in addition to the general rule on commercial premises.
He pointed out the inspections were conducted as part of the Municipality’s campaign under the tagline, “With Your Cooperation, We Make It Beautiful.” Also, Head of the Emergency Team Zayd Al-Enezi disclosed five pledges were signed for different violations such as cross-dressing, using commercial premises for activities contravening rules on public order or morals and violation of technical conditions concerning cabins, as well as the issuance of two citations for expired advertising and health licenses.
