Health Minister pledges to turn citizens’ feedback into practical reforms

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 21: Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi on Thursday affirmed the ministry’s commitment to maintaining direct communication with citizens and translating their comments and suggestions into practical steps to meet aspirations and enhance the quality of care.

The Ministry of Health said in a statement that Al-Awadhi made the remarks during a meeting with residents and members of the Ahmadi Governorate Council, held at the invitation of Governor Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, to discuss ways of developing and improving health services.

The discussions included a proposal to transform the Ahmadi health area into a medical city, the Sabah Al-Ahmad Specialized Medical City project, and the future vision for advancing the primary healthcare system.

According to the statement, the meeting underscored the health system’s interest at all levels in engaging with residents and strengthening partnerships with the Governorate Council to better serve citizens and enhance health services.

The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Assistant Undersecretary for Dental Affairs Dr. Ahmad Asad, and Head of the Primary Healthcare Sector in the Ahmadi Health Area Dr. Fahad Al-Azmi.
