KUWAIT CITY, May 30: To streamline operations and improve performance within the health sector, Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi has issued three ministerial decisions to reorganize the technical subordination of various departments. These decisions follow an assessment of the actual needs of the concerned sectors and health regions.

The first decision transfers the technical subordination of the accounting departments, financial support departments, and their divisions and units in all health regions and central departments directly to the Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs.

The second decision shifts the technical affiliation for monitoring engineering affairs and engineering offices in all health regions directly to the Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering Affairs and Projects.

The third decision moves the technical subordination of the warehouses’ sub-departments, divisions, and units in all health regions and central departments to the Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs.

These ministerial decisions aim to strengthen the administrative apparatus, improve service quality, and achieve sustainable development. By reorganizing the technical subordination, the Ministry of Health seeks to enhance operational efficiency and better meet the needs of its various sectors.

The decisions are effective immediately from the date of issuance. Any previous decisions or texts that conflict with these new provisions have been repealed to ensure smooth implementation.

Dr. Al-Awadhi emphasized that these changes are part of ongoing efforts to enhance work interests, improve performance, and achieve the desired goals across all fields within the health sector.
