KUWAIT CITY, Dec 10: Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Installations and Planning at the Ministry of Education Yassin Al-Yassin revealed that four sectors occupying six floors at the ministry’s main office building in South Surra have violated health regulations on curbing the spread of coronavirus; such as social distancing between employees, wearing masks throughout the working period, and the specified number of people in elevators, reports Al-Qabas daily.
In a letter to the undersecretary of the ministry, Al-Yassin disclosed that the violators include the Administrative Sector on the sixth and seventh floors, Financial Sector on the fifth and eighth floors, Public Education Sector on the second and third floors, and Private Education Sector on the eighth floor. He urged the ministry to issue a circular to these sectors about the need to strictly comply with health procedures and regulations to combat the virus and prevent its spread; particularly the rules on social distancing between employees and wearing masks.
He also stressed the need to stop using incense inside offices, as it could disrupt the fire alarm system; in addition to strict compliance with security and safety regulations in governmental buildings to avoid accidents.
