13 shops and markets in Hawally were found in violation of municipality regulations.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 4: In a recent field tour conducted by the emergency team of Hawalli, an inspection aimed at ensuring compliance with municipal regulations has revealed 13 violations among shops and markets. The operation also involved the removal of unauthorized barriers on state property lacking the necessary licenses.

Ibrahim Al-Sabaan, the head of the governorate’s emergency team, provided insights into the nature of the violations identified during the inspection. The infractions encompassed the exploitation of areas not specified in the licenses held by establishments. Additionally, instances of failure to renew advertising licenses for stores were noted, along with a lack of adherence to general hygiene conditions.

Al-Sabaan stressed the importance of shop owners aligning with the prevailing laws and regulations within the municipality. Non-compliance not only results in violations but may also lead to fines, potentially culminating in administrative closure.

This enforcement effort underscores the municipality's commitment to upholding standards and ensuring the welfare of the community. Shop owners are urged to proactively comply with regulations to maintain a safe and lawful business environment in Hawalli. Further inspections and stringent measures may be implemented to guarantee ongoing adherence to municipal guidelines.
