Handball Premier League fixtures moved to Tuesday amid Cup final

KUWAIT CITY, May 18: The Kuwait Handball Association has announced the postponement of the third round matches of the Premier League Second Division, initially scheduled for today, to tomorrow (Tuesday), in consideration of the Crown Prince’s Cup final between Kuwait Club and Al-Arabi.

The rescheduled matches will take place at Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex as follows:

4:30 pm– Burgan vs. Kazma

6:00 pm – Kuwait Club vs. Al-Arabi

7:30 pm – Salmiya vs. Sulaibikhat

Kuwait Club currently leads the standings with a perfect 40 points, followed by Burgan with 33, Kazma with 28, Salmiya with 21, and both Sulaibikhat and Al-Arabi with 18 points each.

Meanwhile, the Association has also revised the match schedule for the First Division League. The ninth round kicks off today, with Al-Qurain playing Khaitan at 5:00 pm and Fahaheel facing Al-Sahel at 6:30 pm.

Qadsia led the First Division table with 26 points, closely followed by Al-Qurain (24), Al-Nasr (23), Khaitan and Fahaheel (18 each), Yarmouk (6), Al-Tadamon (5), and Al-Sahel (0).

In earlier matches, Khaitan defeated Fahaheel 40–29, while Al-Qurain beat Al-Tadamon 32–25.
