KUWAIT CITY, March 17: The Gulf University team won the Warba Bank Soccer League, securing the title in the third edition of the Higher Education Sports Games organized by the Kuwait School Sports and Higher Education Federation. It sealed its triumph by defeating the Saad Al Abdullah College for Security Sciences 2-0 in the final match held at Sabah Al-Salem Stadium in Al-Arabi Club.

The final was fiercely contested, with both teams demonstrating strong determination. However, it was the Gulf University team that capitalized on their opportunities, converting them into goals to claim the championship. The Saad Al Abdullah College for Security Sciences settled for second place, while the Kuwait College of Science and Technology team secured third place.

Faisal Al-Maqseed, President of the School and Higher Education Union and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the tournament, emphasized the success of the event, which was held under the patronage of Warba Bank, the strategic partner of the Union.

He highlighted the participation of governmental and private higher education institutions and military colleges, which contributed to the event’s success. Al-Maqseed praised the partnership between the union and Warba Bank, citing it as an example of collaboration between civil society institutions and major national entities to benefit students and fulfill social responsibilities.
