Gulf Air extends flight cancellations to and from Jordan and Iraq until June 27
Gulf Air extends cancellation of key Middle East routes over security concerns.

MANAMA, June 17: Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, announced on Tuesday that it is extending the cancellation of its scheduled flights to and from Amman, Baghdad, and Najaf until June 27, citing ongoing developments in the regional security situation.

In a statement carried by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the airline affirmed that the safety of its passengers and crew remains its highest priority. Gulf Air said it continues to monitor the situation closely and will adjust operations accordingly based on evolving conditions.

The airline added that it is working closely with its partners to support passengers affected by the extended cancellations, including providing accommodation and arranging transportation to help travelers reach their original or final destinations.

The latest announcement follows a previous decision issued last Sunday to suspend flights to Amman, Baghdad, Najaf, and Baku, Azerbaijan, due to the regional circumstances.

Gulf Air assured passengers that all necessary measures are being taken to minimize disruptions and provide alternative solutions where possible.
