Gulf Air cancels flights to and from Jordan, Iraq, and Azerbaijan over regional tensions

MANAMA, June 15: Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, announced on Sunday the cancellation of several flights to and from Jordan, Iraq, and Azerbaijan due to ongoing regional developments.

In a statement carried by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the airline confirmed the suspension of its scheduled flights to the Jordanian capital, Amman, until Monday; to Baghdad and Najaf in Iraq until June 20; and to the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, until June 21.

Gulf Air emphasized that it is closely monitoring the situation and that the safety of its passengers and crew remains its highest priority.

The airline expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the cancellations and assured travelers that it is working in coordination with partners and relevant authorities to assist affected passengers. Gulf Air also pledged to arrange accommodation and transportation for travelers to their original or final destinations.
