No receiving public inside grocery stores - Operating time 8am until 4 pm and 8pm until 1:30 am

KUWAIT, May 11: Kuwait Municipality announced today, Monday, allowing groceries to provide services during the comprehensive ban approved by the Council of Ministers by providing residents of buildings adjacent to the store with what they need in the morning and evening periods.

The municipality said in a press statement that delivery should take place without using any vehicles to secure food for the population as well as not receiving the public inside grocery stores.

Permitting is limited only to grocery stores that engage in the activity of selling food in residential areas.

The municipality set the working hours for these stores in the morning period from 8 until 4 pm and in the evening period from 8 until 1:30 am.
All workers in these stores must adhere to the precautionary and preventive requirements, while adhering to the wearing of gloves, masks and other means of protection.
