KUWAIT CITY, June 10: Following the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to enhance community partnership through on-ground engagement, the Governor of Farwaniya, Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi Al-Sabah, led a field tour in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. Accompanying him were Brigadier General Saleh Uqla Al-Azmi, Director General of the Farwaniya Governorate Security Directorate, various security leaders, Mubarak Al-Kabeer, Deputy Director General for Farwaniya Municipality Sector Affairs, Engineer Nawaf Abdullah Al-Kandari, Director of the Farwaniya Governorate Municipality Branch, Engineer Mubarak Al-Ajmi, and leaders from the Works and Fire Department.

The governor emphasized that addressing the challenges in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh is a priority for the Farwaniya Governorate. He noted the unique demographic composition of the area, stating, "Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh is teeming with a human mix that may not be found in other areas across the entire country." The governor reaffirmed the commitment to tackling issues such as unauthorized housing and street vending, which have negatively impacted the community.

Coordination between relevant ministries is crucial to effectively addressing these issues. The governor called for immediate action to assess the social, security, and health concerns in the area and emphasized the importance of arresting violators to ensure the safety of citizens and residents.

The governor expressed gratitude to all parties involved in the tour, including the Security Directorate of Farwaniya Governorate, Ministries of Municipality and Public Works, and the General Fire Department. He affirmed his readiness for ongoing cooperation to enhance the well-being of the Farwaniya Governorate.
